I had THE best blue cheese wedge salad here! So fresh! And the burger was delish too! I would of given a 5 star but I only have 2 dislikes about this place of business. 1. The seats are terribly uncomfortable. And 2. I so love ambiance during my date night dinners with hubby, but I had some difficulty reading the menu due to the low lighting. Of course these things wont keep us from coming back, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.
Tried this place because Ive heard a lot about it and glad I did. My wife and I werent particularly hungry that evening but we wanted something small so we shared an order of the duck confit fries, in which you get a good amount. They were very good and we loved the setting of the place, very relaxed. We will definitely be back to try more and would recommend just because of the fries. Service was also excellent

There is no excuse for how we were treated here.We (my husband and I) tried to eat here for lunch about a month ago. When we arrived and gave the hostess our names, she said there was one party ahead of us and it would only be approximately a 10 minute wait. She wasn’t friendly, but she wasn’t overtly rude either.We’re pretty easy going, but 30 minutes, and at least four seated parties later (who seemed to know the hostess), we still hadn’t been given a table. No one else was standing across from her, so she didn’t forget we were there, but she didn’t look up from her phone to acknowledged us again either.We saw several tables open, so my (very irritated by this time) husband went to ask why were weren’t given a table. Not only did she completely ignore him, she started playing with her phone. I’m not sure what was going on, but I pulled him out of there before she got the words she deserved.I’m sure she was too busy playing with her phone and gossiping with her co-workers to notice. I guess they didn’t need our money. I should send them a bill for our wasted time, and parking….
This place is a must in Knoxville. By far the best burger you are going to have. It is so popular they always have a wait but you give them your number and they text you when your table is ready so you can enjoy Marker Square. I’ve had the traditional bacon cheeseburger the Hurt Locker and the Ring of Fire. All are amazing. Fresh ingredients and interesting choices. Fries are on point and onion rings are good too. Hand spun milkshake was tried once and was really good. This place is also known for their wide selection of bourbon.
Stock and Barrel really needs to allow gift cards/certificates to be sold online or by phone. My kids favorite place and it is tough to walk in from 800 miles.
Every cent paid at this establishment was worth it! The Bison Burger was incredibly moist and delicious and The Duck Confit fries to go with it was AMAZING! And to finish down the scrumptious food, a rich, thick, and creamy Nutella Milkshake! My mouth waters as I write…
This place is delicious! They told us a 45 minutes wait but ended up getting a table in 15 minutes. Service was great, food was amazing. Love it!
