Our go to choice for great beer + a delicious late dinner in Knoxville. Attracts a pleasant crowd, the beer selection is always awesome, and I couldn’t live without a Matt’s Ramen fix at least every couple of weeks.
High Gravity and noodles? YES PLEASE!. Always eager to please, the staff and beer selection are equally amazing. The beer selection is great and changes frequently, a great way to prevent taste-bud boredom, and gives a chance to sip and sample different brews, although Kentucky Bourbon Ale may always be my favorite. I am becoming addicted to their Ramen Noodle Bowls. Make no mistake, this isn’t the Ramen from college, last week the noodle bowl came with brisket and other delicious toppings, this week a smoke salmon option is available. The warm noodle bowls are a great and tasty alternative to eating soup during the cold months.
Really decent bar. I was pretty impressed with this place. I was in town for a 3 day academic workshop and I looked up good places to get a beer in knoxville. This place came up on a few different searches. I think the prices and options at Suttree’s are excellent. I knew it was going to be good when I sat down and saw that they had the Founders Bourbon Breakfast Stout on tap. This stuff sells out in hours at the beer stores in SC! I spent every night at Suttree’s during my visit and I would definitely go back again. Had food one of the nights and that was pretty good too. Not a huge food menu, but if all you want it a little something to eat with the beer, it will do! Highly recommended!
We used to live in Boston where you emptied out your pockets for a light beer. It’s pure heaven to have a large selection of high gravity beer for $5. I know to some knoxvillians that is probably steep. Trust me, it’s legendary! Love the new Belgian trippel. I’m hoping it comes back soon.
