We like this place. It’s fun to take out of town guest. But for us we really like to come here for Sunday Brunch, it’s very good. It can be a bit on the expensive side but again we feel it’s worth it. If you haven’t been it’s worth it to check it out.

Food is always good. Nice atmosphere. Pretty good, consistent service. Just a little overpriced (and small portions), in my opinion. Bonus points for free parking though!

Still worth the visit. Good pub food that used to be great pub food. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the changes they have been made have introduced some needed variety and creativity to the menu. That being said, this used to be one of my favorite fish and chips in all the land and its just not the same as it used to be. All and all, there is still a lot of food reasons to go here.

What’s going on???. Over the past year the crown and Goose has gone seriously downhill. The prices have gone up and the food quality and serving size has gone down. Also the service is hit or miss. With that said my last experience there was not good, starting with the hostesses, note that it was plural, they did not seem to want to take in my business, it seemed like they we doing me a favor just acknowledging my and my dates presence. I was told a ten minute wait, but after sitting at the bar for forty five minutes I went up to them and was told that they texted and called me, ok, the obviously took my number down wrong. That’s not bad but when one of them walks past us seven times and still does not realize that a pair of customers are waiting far too long that is not a good thing. I have been finding snarky attitudes and lackluster service manifesting themselves there. If the owners don’t step in and fix these problems I don’t see this establishment staying open much longer.

Great laid back but attentive service. Disappointed no fresh oysters but EVERYTHING else was great, inventive and delicious. Definitely coming back.

Wonderful atmosphere and service. Attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and the food was outstanding from beginning to end. We arrived early and had a few drinks for happy hour and talking with wait staff and inquired why Welsh Rarebit was not on the menu, a few minutes later he returned to the table with two plates specially prepared by the chef for us.We were also pleased with the meat and cheese board featuring in house pickled veggies and in house made sausage and cured meats. The main dishes were attractive and filling and the dessert offerings were unique and a wonderful finish.A definite return trip is in order.
