This was our first trip to the Melting Pot. The waiter that we had was very patient and helpful. I loved the romantic music and atmosphere. The food was very good too!
Very delicious, but overpriced.. I honestly believe they charge too much. The food is absolutely delicious. I love fondue. However, I could make the cheese and chocolate at home myself and it be just as good and much less expensive. I went for my boyfriend’s birthday last week and ended up spending $80 just for the two of us. And that was with a free dessert because we waited about 20 minutes for our server to come. The hostesses forgot to let the server know that she had another table seated, so the owner gave us our chocolate for free. I seriously love the food though. I wish so much that I could go there more often, but I can’t afford it.
Not that impressed. My boyfriend and I went there for an anniversary dinner, and I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the entree. Neither it nor the dipping sauces were all that fantastic, especially for the price, and I felt like I needed some kind of cheat sheet for how long, etc, we should cook each kind of meat and which dipping sauce was which. However, both the salad course and the dessert fondue were great, and I would absolutely go back for those!
I eat at alot of fine dining and I have never taken time to write a review. Im writing because I do not want anyone elae to waste their time if you have certain expectations. Maybe im spoiled. However, a few weeks ago I ate in Nashville. It was fantastic! Last night, i went to the old city in Knoxville, Tn location…. It was awful! Totally different food quality. You can tell it was frozen meat and seafood. You cannot compare! I will never return to that place. 160.00 with wine and total disappointment. Go at your own risk. However, maybe im just spoiled with good food quality.
Great for special occasions. This is a hidden little gem in Knoxville. Its a unique and fun experience! I took my fiance there for a birthday celebrate. For the two us, we spent about $130, which was quite a lot for two people in Knoxville at any place you can eat at, but it was very worth it! Walked away with a super full belly. Not really affordable to eat there often but for very special occasions its nice.
Worth it!. It’s pricey, but worth it. MP is a great place to go for special occasions. The seating is very cozy and the service is impeccable. If you don’t want to spend too much just go for dessert. It’s the best part!
Fun evening and great food!. We had wonderful service and terrific food! Great date night place!
