This is a little mom & pop place, with decent biscuits & gravy when warm. I had to request that the gravy be heated, and ask for enough gravy to cover two biscuits. Coffee is like brown water, and non-dairy creamer & whipped margarine are only options (no half&half or butter). If you need a cheap comfort meal, it’s fine. Otherwise, steer clear.
Delicious! Great service, exceptionally clean! Ordered cheeseburger with an over easy egg, crinkle fries, and onion rings. Yes onion rings are frozen but they’re good! I liked it. It’s good food at a good price. I’ll go back!
Good and Bad. Ordered the veal plate with pintos, green beans, & mashed potatoes. Order literally came out in 5 minutes. Veal was a previously frozen processed patty and mashed potatoes were instant. Disappointing for a restaurant that advertises country cooking. Pintos and green beans were good. For that quality of food the prices are right on.
Great little quaint place with good home cooked meals, very reasonable prices, and some of the best service around.
