I’ll have to admit… This one surprised me. My wife and I had our wedding reception here a couple years ago, and periodically come back for a visit. On this occasion, they went above and beyond for our anniversary dinner. The chef served multiple courses and personally came out to talk about each dish. They are really developing something special here. Not your typical holiday inn fare!

Exceptional Dining with a Moderate Price Tag. I absolutely loved my experience at Windows on the Park last weekend. I was dining with young children, so I arrived at 5pm and found the restaurant to be very quiet (a good thing when you have young kids…fewer people to potentially disturb!). We enjoyed the fried cheese with marinara for an appetizer, and the sauce tasted very fresh. We had beef medallions and trout for our main courses. Both were incredibly good. The trout came with goat cheese grits which I highly recommend. And for dessert, we went with the mason jar bread pudding, which really tasted like heaven. It was a fantastic way to end the meal! Our server was very attentive yet not at all over bearing. I will say that the food came out a bit more slowly than was ideal, especially for diners with kids. We were there for an hour and a half, and for us, that was about 20 minutes too long. It was the main courses that took such a long time. But other than that, it was great. The restaurant has a very clean, updated and modern look, and the views into the park are excellent. This is a great spot for a business lunch and also for a romantic dinner.
Great Little Restaurant. My husband and I went here for Valentine’s Day dinner. The atmosphere was very elegant and had a romantic feel about it. Since this was a special occasion champagne and a rose was included with the dinner. The appetizers were very tasty. I had the fried green tomatoes, which were good. The main course was delish. Overall it was a good experience and I will go back!
Romantic Valetine. My husband and I had the best Valentine’s dinner this past Friday. Romantic view of the beautiful lights on the park, candlelight and roses and champagne. The dinner was some of the best we have had in all our travels from the toasted almond brie with caramelized pears, petite filet with lobster raviolis finished with red velvet lava cake. The staff was friendly, attentive to every detail of evening. We will definitely make this our favorite place to go for great food.
I have never written a negative review about a Restuarant. The food was so sub par. The chicken was so dry and bland but the trout was so bad. The crusty trout was quite possibly the worst I have ever tasted. Such a strong fish ( not pleasant) taste. There are many downtown Restuarants in the downtown area to choose from besides that u will enjoy over this one.
