It is a mandatory stop when I am in Knoxville. It is simply the best falafel I have found anywhere. Don’t miss it if you’re here! I would love for them to open a place in Nashville.

Delicious gyro sandwich. Prices are on the menu behind the counter. Yassin is lovable and friendly. Clean and bright dining area. I’d like to eat here again next time I’m in Knoxville.
Had the chicken shawarma from the lunch menu. Was excellent and filling. The true gem was the orange soda I had upon recommendation from another customer. It was lightly flavored with real orange. Had to shake it for proper enjoyment. Still yum.Went back. Had falafels. NOW I know why this place is so popular. Those were amazing. Baba ganoush was flavorful and good accompaniment. Trust me, this is repeatably good.
Yassin’s – A Knoxville Must Go!. Last night, we went to Yassin’s for dinner. We have been there for lunch a few times, and wanted to try their dinner menu items. I ordered the Spicy Falafel Sandwich which was amazing as usual, and my husband ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab. The Shish Kebab was some of the most tender and flavorful chicken either of has ever had. The vegetables served as an accompaniment — eggplant, onion, tomato — were perfectly grilled and seasoned. The kebab came with a side of hummus (best in Knoxville) and this tangy white sauce that complemented the chicken and vegetables perfectly! It was one of the best meals we have had in a long time, and was super affordable. We look forward to returning again, for dinner and lunch!
