Just left from there about an hour ago. 8 folks at our table. I go strictly go for the food because it seems impossible to get a good server here. At least one with a pulse or that may be remotely happy they are there. Maybe they should have a to go window. So sad 🙁
Unclean shrimps. I am a big fan of sea food and love shrimp, but it is very annoying when you pay for a meal and you get served unclean shrimps! I had to clean in order to eat them which I consider that it is the restaurant job! not happy about it.
Very Good!. My husband and I went Saturday night and thought it was great. Clean, lively and good service! We started with the Boudin Balls. Neither of us really cared for them, but they were not bad…just not our taste. The hush puppies were not very good I must say. (I know you are thinking… I thought you said it was great). I ordered the Shrimp Diablo it was very, very good. Spicy and slightly sweet, the shrimp was cooked perfect. My husband got the VooDoo Chicken and all I can say is holy $h!t. That was the bomb! So rich and delicious… tiny crawfish and that incredible sauce! I cant wait to go back again and get my own plate. I am quite sure it was not on weight watchers list, but man was that good! Skip the hush puppies and load up on the VooDoo Chicken!!
Terrible lunch. I have eaten here several times over the past couple of years and have noticed a steady decline over the past few months. Today was the culmination in bad food and I will not be going back. We stopped in for lunch ordered fried pickles, oyster poboy and a small bowl of gumbo with a side salad. the Fried pickles were overly salty and cold despite us being basically the only ones there and they came out at the exact same time as our food. My Poboy was inedible. The oysters were cold, the mustard sauce had no taste and the bread was tasteless and the only thing that was there in any quantity. My wife’s gumbo was tiny and her salad was just soggy lettuce with two tomato slices on it. After paying 40 bucks for a lunch we couldn’t eat we were tempted to go to Wendy’s for some good food after here. I’ll never see it but hopefully they get their act back together.
Love it.. Crawfish enchiladas = awesome. A little slow at rush times.
A spicy, authentic cajun dining experience. There is no other place like it in Nashville. Definitely a place to visit, and it is on my Favorites.
4/27 saturday. Ate there a lot but today was the last time, had the shrimp and grits, love the grits then the wife pulls a big black kinky hair out of her’s Ididn’t even want to look at my meal again.
