The Pie Wagon is an old historical fixture in Franklin that dates back a long time. Several owners have maintained it it serves meals on a walk up basis almost every day.
I follow them on Facebook to see what the daily menu will be, and I try to get there often when there is a good salad.
We ate here on the food tour. Loved the red beet and goat cheese salad. The owner and chef came to talk to us and she was so much fun. Great way to start our adventure in Franklin.
Great food, charming people. Because of it’s size you may have to wait in line for a while but the delicious food is worth the wait.
