The food is good and while the atmosphere is pleasant it isn’t as fancy as other Chop House restaurants.
Bland,Bland,Bland. After reading the reviews my wife and I decided to try this place on our recent trip to Franklin. BIG mistake!!!!! I had the 8 oz filet and my wife had the steak salad. Now my eyes told my brain that a great looking piece of steak was on it’s way to my mouth but my taste buds told my brain that I had received a cube of unflavored gelatin! It was absolutely tasteless, no wonderful beef flavor, no seasoning, nothing! it was as if they had soaked it in water for 3 days. My wife’s salad was ok but the steak pieces were even worse as they also had no flavor and were stringy and tough. What a waste of money.They should change the name to the Franklin Bland House.
Initially when my meal came it looked quite impressive tonight’s blackened fish fillets with rice and a side dish of okra as I attempted to put my fork through 1 of the filets it was not even cooked …the waiter cheerfully took it back to the kitchen and said I will get you another piece of fish ..when he returned I got the same piece of fish parently heated up in the microwave are on the grill not what I would call a very brilliant restaurant policy anyways the quality was about a 5 and a half out of 10 the best part of the mail was the oreo ice cream dessert if they had returned with the new fully cooked thoroughly my rating would have been higher unfortunately we cook took a shortcut
Just okay. Very average. Clean, but food is very average.
I ordered a veggie plate – it was nothing special. The mac n cheese was not good – it was runny and the cheese did not taste like real cheese. The sweet potatoes were cold but okay. The green beans were canned and the corn was okay. The biscuts tasted like bisquick are were just ok. The service was good and resturant was cute but the restroom was gross… I probably would not go back.
Good food and great service. This is not the same Chop House chain from Knoxville, Tn but it was still great!
