What really needs to be said? Frothy Monkeys is amazing. In the larger cafe culture they rate high on my scale. Competent baristas making great crated drinks at a steady pace. Fair slow bar choices (Chemex vs Kalita Wave), this is more about the expresso and the drip coffee. With the Winter menu try the Mayan Mocha for a spicy chocolate latte. The atmosphere, with its all wood interior and plenty of seating, make it a desirable meeting or work space. I’ve yet to try their food menu but if it’s anything like they coffee I’m sure it’s fantastic. Gift shop available to let friends at home know where you were.

Delicious coffee in a charming neighborhood. I stopped by Frothy Monkey on a Saturday night to enjoy a steaming hot latte. The service was good, the atmosphere was casual and the coffee was smooth, Kaldi coffee. The latte was concocted just right to suit my taste and I enjoyed it to the very last drop. Next time I will try the food.
Unfortunately they were not at the top of their game when we went for food. I had only gone for coffee until now, which is always great. Very disappointing execution for the quality I expected from their name. It could warrant another trip, but with the amount of options in Nashville I don’t know when that will.
The food and atmosphere are great but our waitress was TERRIBLE! She was rude like a bratty teenager and we had to ask multiple times to get her to take up the old food from the previous customers on our table, bring silverware, and get our drinks. Just absolutely rude!
Great addition to Franklin. Love their breakfast and coffee. Yes, service can be slow but overall not terrible. Its a great place to sit outside on the porch and relax. Their dinner specials are usually very good too!Its worth going!
