I checked out all reviews for Mexican fare in the Franklin area and thought I would check out Garcia’s. I am glad I did! ! The fresh salsa and chips were amazing! For the entre I opted for the chicken QQuesidilla. It did take a little longer than I thought to get it, but was well worth the wait! The only negative I would have to say is that they are a little stingy with the guacamole and pico De gallo. Other than that, I would say Go and enjoy a great Mexican meal in a cool, vibrant vibe!
Regular customer not going back!. We have been going to Garcias almost every Friday night for 2 years.. we admit.. it is a roller coaster ride if the food is hot or on the warm side. but they have amazing margaritas. We always ask to have it extra hot so we get it right. Tonight was a major disappointment. We ordered our normal fajitas.. took 20 mins and came ice cold. not luke warm, but cold. so we told our waitress that is the owners daughter (we ask for her all the time) and she took them back. Brought back the same plate.. but this time the food is warm. not hot… but a little warm. So we told her not acceptable. We then removed the plate that had the toppings.. and she was going to get us a NEW plate. Well, she brought back a plate.. the same one.. but this time they had taken the meat off and grilled it more. so the steak was cardboard. Burned hard, could not even break it in half. Cooked beyond edible. We were so unhappy after trying for an hour to get our food, that she called the manager. He defended the kitchen and her. We tried to be reasonable and he knows us. So he went back and made us a new dish. It was sizzling.. with half the meat.. but at least it was edible. No apologies. When we recieved the bill, they took a discount of $3.44. WOW! REALLY! Margaritas, food, appetizer.. $3.44 does not seem like it was worth trying to get food hot and cooked so we could eat it. We will not go back which is unfortunate.

Sunday Place to Be. The salsa is always fresh and tastes great. The staff keeps us coming back. They do a great job, which adds to the dining experience.
Good Tex-Mex. A Texas transplant in Tennessee, I’m on a mission for good Mexican food. Garcia’s isn’t spectacular, but it fills the craving. The White Cheddar queso is good and flavorful. A bowl is roughly $4 and is plenty for 4 or more people. My husband has enjoyed the beef and chicken fajita meat as it is tender and flavorful. I’ve ordered the cheese enchilada and crunchy beef taco and both were well-seasoned and filling. Service is decent, and the prices are very reasonable.
