Raw meat out in the open. Should I say more??
Not for those sensitive to spicy foods. I used to love going here, but the last time I went I had a bad experience. I asked for the heart healthy recipe, and the waiter warned me that these healthy recipes are sometimes spicy. I talked to him to determine what spicy foods to avoid, but when I got my food it was WAY too spicy. My mouth burned, and I felt like I was going to choke. The premise of the restaurant is awesome, but cooking many foods on the same grill just doesn’t work for those of us with food sensitivities.
I heard about genghis grill through a friend. we had something similar (BDs Monogolian BBQ) in Chicago. this place was almost exactly the same, except it was cramped, and the buffet area where you get the raw food was dirty and there was a lot let sauces available. I think our server was stoned too. she kept leaning over me, staring at my dish and was just being creepy. the whole decor was just cheap looking and the whole place looked like a mess. ive worked at many restaurants in my time, but i would have never accepted eating at a place this chaotic looking.
Quick, Clean and Tasty. Very clean restaurant with many tasty options. If you are not familiar with the Mongolian BBQ methodology, it is pretty simple. You choose your vegetables, choose your spices and sauces and then tell them what starch (rice, noodles, etc.). The whole process takes less than 10 minutes, usually. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend going on non-rush times in order to have a more relaxed experience.
Just do it. Load up with ingredients you like and they cook it for you. if you like spicy, this is it.don’t waste your time looking for a parking spot for chuy’s.EAT HERE, and tip the cooks.
TOWED MY CAR 30 MILES. I parked here to eat at CHUYs ( a great restaurant) and carefully looked around for signs about parking. THERE WERE NO SIGNS at the restaurant about parking.I returned to find my car towed 30 miles away.
If you go ask for Christina! She was our server and she was great!! 🙂
