Mmmm. On first going into the restaurant I was pleased. The clientele was mostly hispanic…which is always a good sign for a taco shop. The food was well priced (about $5-6 for a burrito), and very good. My burrito came by itself on a styrofoam plate, with nothing else on the tray…as it should be. A no-nonsense burrito chock full of steak that I couldn’t even finish it. The best part is that most of the burritos actually have guacamole in them. The only downside is that it’s so popular that you end up waiting at least 5-10 minutes for your food during the lunch rush. But, it’s worth it.
Fish tacos are great. Cheese enchiladas are , too.
The food is pretty good especially for the price and the cheese dip is fantastic
Oscars taco shop is not only the best mexican restaurant in the world but the best restaurant in general of all restaurants in the world. ever since i walked into the first Oscars taco shop on columbia ave. 6 years ago ive been introduced to so many authentic Mexican meals i never thought possible to taste so good. my fav meal is the carne asada quesadilla. when i was on a few months work trip in san antonio tx i had heard that the Mexican food there was the most authentic and delicous. which it was but Oscars taco shop was ssssooooo much better

Great food and inexpensive. This is the best mexican food in Franklin and it is very inexpensive.
