I found the restaurant in the food extremely nice. Service was excellent the price was right and the atmosphere was perfect. Can’t think why you wouldn’t enjoy this place.

Pretty good fare…. in a very hip atmosphere. An eclectic menu too, but the name should give you a tip…. everything had a bit of spice to it. I had the gumbo and it was quite hot. With family in New Orleans, I’m used to adding a little pepper sauce to my chow, but this bordered on too hot. The ladies in my party had the BBQ sandwich and black and blue pasta minus meat…. they too were spicy for their taste (though I tried a nibble of each and didn’t think they were even in the same galaxy as my gumbo). I had business in the area and this was convenient. If I am back in the area again, I’m trying something else unless the folks with the credit card suggest it….good food, cool location, but they try too hard with being the corner on the spice market.

Disappointing food and bad service. My expectations were low, but with cold food and a server that was nowhere to be found, saffire didn’t even meet low expectations. Paid the bill and got out of there as fast as possible to get some real food.

Just came out of Saffire after enjoying one of the best pork chops I’ve ever had. The Key Lime Pie do dessert was also great. Portion sizes are appropriate. The atmosphere is easy and casual where jeans are at home. I’ll definitely be back to try the grits and oysters or the swordfish entrees.

Excellent meal! The shrimp and grits were top notch. Filet was large and beautifully done

Very cool setting, solid food. SETTING: Loved the industrial, multi-use setting in the midst of local shops, antique stores etc.MENU: Solid. My fried green tomatoes and eggs on a biscuit with hollandaise was not extraordinary, but I really enjoyed it. Bread pudding was creatively executed IMHO, and tasty.SERVICE: friendly, excellentPRICE: Reasonable for what we were given.

It’s ok, nothing special. The food was good quality, we had the pork chop with greens and mashed potatoes, the appetizer was the lobster empenadas, don’t get those, they look like 4 minature egg rolls, with no lobster in them, with an orange sauce poured over them, it took us a min to eat those, way overpriced at 13 bucks, beer i had was 8 bucks, we left there 100 bucks lighter. Although the food tasted good, it was nothing special, and worth the hype, probably will not go back.
