Great
Wanted to love it but…. The people that work here are so nice so I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, because they do not offer specialty pizzas like veggies, meat lovers, etc ordering a pizza with more than a couple of toppings gets pricey and the taste does not justify the price. Although the servers at Nick’s are not nearly as customer friendly, I still prefer the taste of Nick’s food.
Delicioso. Sal’s has the best pizza in the Boro. It’s perfectly thin, greasy, and cheesy. I found myself eating it slower to enjoy every bite. Yum.
Family-owned and super friendly staff. The pie is pretty good, I’m not a fan of the way they chop their toppings but that’s just a personal thing. They also do tend to go heavy on the cheese but when asked to go lighter they always do. I wish they would alter the lighting so it was less bright and add some table clothes for more character. We like the family so we keep coming back..
We love Sal’s, everyone is very friendly and the pizza is the best in town. We drive by five pizza places to eat at Sal’s!
We love going to Sal’s! When they say family, they mean it! The family is always on staff! We love the lasagna, calzones, pizza, & The Zeppole… Yum!! The staff has never been anything but friendly & attentive to us. The portions are huge! We always take home leftovers & enjoy them the next day!
It’s ok but nothing special, will do in a pinch. The owner has an attitude that is off putting, it’s hard to pull off arrogance in the restaurant business unless you actually have the culinary chops.
