The best NY style pizza in the Nashville area. Sal’s also has made from scratch lasagna and calzones and stromboli made the right way. This review is for the Franklin location but they also have a location in Nashville with the same menu and delicious made from scratch Italian cuisine in a casual family-friendly setting.
We took advantage of a free pizza offer when we moved to the area. The pizza is thin and cut pie-style–it was ok. We picked up our order and I bet the pizza is better when you dine-in. Antipasto salad was pretty great. huge portion, probably serves 4-6 if eating it as a side to the pizza.
Great pizza, FINALLY. Looked all over, tried them all! Wanted to find our family favorite pizza spot. Hands down, the best pizza – and calzones to die for – we’ve had in Franklin. Highly recommended.
