Once I find a great dish, I don’t deviate. Been there 4 times in 3 weeks. The Mex City street tacos w/ steak…and the Tres Enchiladas are both GREAT & CONSISTENT. Great service…all around GREAT!

Real good gourmet-y Mexican. Not the widest variety of eats but definitely a popular weekend spot. Guac is excellent but overall it’s just a good Mexican place. There’s better but there much, much worse.

Good but very poor management. The waiters are clearly understaffed and stressed every time we come in. It takes forever to get service and I sometimes don’t even get what I ordered. I gave it 3 shots because I like the food, but I just can’t come back because of the service. It’s the worst I’ve had in franklin in many years.

Can you say green chile???. I loved the first couple of bites.. Great taste, well seasoned, mouth-watering presentation. However after the warmth of the green chilies set in, I dove into the rice for support and a new flavor. I liked the flavor until the green chilies in it brought more warmth. Well pretty much the whole meal ended up tasting like green chilies. More balance between the secret ingredient would have made the meal fantastic. I ended up calming my mouth with the greens and jicama from the salad.. Btw mangos should not be hard and bitter. If the mangos had been ripe, the salad would have been perfect. Overall decent experience, but I’m not knocking down the door anytime soon.

Bad Review. We live in Gateway Village and went to Sopillas the first day they were open 3 or 4 years ago….watched it grow and now watching it go bad… I guess Steve must not own it anymore…. Need another local resturaunt…. HELP!!!17 Feb, 2014Sopillas is going down fast. Sopillas sucks… Bad management. Live at the top of the hill and have watched it go down hill. Used to GE great…. Need some competition in the Gateway Village area…Beware if you want to wait an hour and half for dinner after ordering…. And still not get it.. Had to go get a sub next door at 9:00

Highly recommend Sopapilla’s! The margaritas are off the chart. Not the harsh salty margaritas but a smooth flavorful con-cation. The salsa is fantastic! We loved our meals and the atmosphere. A new favorite for sure!
