Good food.. But not the service. This place confuses me. First the dcor feels a little dated, rustic and traditional. Which doesn’t ever feel like fine dining to me. I had the bacon-wrapped filet (very good) and lump crab cakes (ok, but not as good as they talk them up to be, in my opinion) and the salad bar, which kind of small and basic. (Also, is it just me or does it feel weird to open a $70 bottle of wine and then be sent to the salad bar?) Anyway the food overall was good. Now – if I were just rating this place based on service, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this last trip. And here’s why. Our server spent way too much time chatting at our table. It was awkward and unwelcome. We’re all for being friendly, but that’s not an open invitation to our dinner – unless you plan to pick up the check lol
LOUD! Even with carpet, curtains, and sound absorbing material on the ceiling-LOUD!The food was good, but EXPENSIVE! At those prices, the food should be amazing!
Horrible bartender. Humiliated by bartender as he made me give up my seat for dinner for one of his friends. Unless your his buddy, do not go to the bar.
Hidden gem. I had a great business dinner here, and it’s definitely a hidden gem within a strip mall in Franklin. The minute you walk in, you’re transported into dark, wood-paneled hideaway. I had a crab cake appetizer, delicious steak, and tasty dessert. I’m not sure I’ll ever go back, because it is a fancy-pants joint, but it’s an good old school steakhouse for sure. adventuresinaubreyland.com
Now this Restaurant knows how to make things happen!! Great Food and Service!! Nice To see a well run place finally!!
Best fillet!!!!!!!!. Having grown up on family farm raised beef, this is the only place that I can enjoy eating a steak in the Nashville area. They use better meat and good seasonings and you can taste it. Their salad bar is also excellent, with the green goddess dressing. It seems like it may be the only place where someone actually tastes the fruit (particularly honeydew) before they put it out. I only wish they could find a better bread. It tastes good, but when the crust cools, it is hard as a rock. I have tried some other menu items and wasn’t particularly impressed, but it’s the only place I go for a steak. I like the old English decor with fire places, and some of the staff is outstanding and very welcoming. It may be too pricey for some people, and they probably can’t taste any difference in the steak anyway, such as Stoney River fans.
Absolutely wonderful. I spend about 4 nights a week in their bar area, ask for carie or adrian, they are both INCREDIBLE.It is more expensive than your usual place to eat, but it is more than worth it. You most definitely get what you pay for. Everything on their menu is fabulous and the servers are extremely courteous and wonderful people.
