I have eaten here twice. The food can be terrific – gumbo, grits, friend oysters. It can also be awful – orzo with scallops and shrimp. The decor and ambience are cool because it’s an old building with character in downtown Gallatin, but it is clear that little to money or thought goes into making the place more than a dive. The servers both times have worked hard to take care of us.
