Simpler Times. Stamps Stars & Stripes harkens back to simpler times, the community table at the corner cafe, coffee with friends over the morning paper, a real breakfast (or lunch or dinner) of just plain old good food, simply and well prepared. This restaurant has been a favorite stopping place for Saturday breakfast for me for at least fifteen years. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, a brusque but friendly waitress, noisy, crowded customers old tables with substantial chairs and an unbelievable amount of good food coming out of an unbelievably small kitchen. Don’t miss this place on your way through Gallatin. Great burgers and such at lunch & homemade desserts too numerous to list…..try it
