Best catfish in TN! Friendly and fast service. Recommend that you visit during off-peak hours. Restaurant was packed at 2:30. Onion rings were crispy and hot.

Fantastic & tender pork! The hoecakes were ridiculously good. The service was so quick and the waitress was on it! Make sure to use the hot BBQ sauce because it has the best flavor and it isn’t too hot. The mild is okay but does not have as much flavor. Hot FTW!

Fantastic… both the food as well as the atmosphere! We went there at 3pm on a weekday because we had heard that it was always very busy and we wanted to avoid crowds and the waiting that often accompanies them. So, in between the lunch and dinner times worked well for our schedule and we didn’t have any wait at all. In total, there were about 8-10 other tables that were occupied and plenty of empty tables. We ordered a full rack of ribs, the bbq chicken and the bbq (pulled pork). There were only two of us and we were both interested in the ribs but also wanted to try the chicken as well as the pulled pork. Having had some of everything, I’d have to say that the best tasting item out of the three were the ribs with the pulled pork coming in a close second. The bbq chicken was alright but was a little too dry for my taste. In addition, I had the baked beans which were unique to any other baked beans that I had ever had and were hands down the best that I have encountered! I also had French fries (though they were your standard crinkle fry and though good, not worth writing about). We couldn’t finish all the ribs so we got a takeout box for those still left and proceeded to order the peach cobbler for dessert. Now, that was a fantastic choice and probably the best peach cobbler that I have ever had! To drink I had a sweet tea (they don’t serve beer) and it came in a large sized mason jar which served to add to the down home country ambiance of the place. There is seating both inside as well as on the patio for those who enjoy eating outside on beautiful afternoons and evenings and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area and looking for a good ol’ southern plate of bbq and all the fixin’s that come with it! The ONLY reason I have not rated it 5 stars is because they do NOT accept plastic. So, make sure to either bring cash or your checkbook.

This is the place to go and eat. I was there with friends to celebrate my birthday, ate catfish, white beans, turnip greens, it was the best. Also ordered chocolate pie and I think Mom was in the kitchen cooking because it tasted just like it was home made in her kitchen.” Mom are you back there?”………….The service was great also, servers are friendly and ours even took our picture for useven though they were very busy. Yes, I will go back again, and again.

Best catfish in town. Really good catfish and the ribs were really good. Will eat there again for sure. My only advice is to get there early and bring cash cause credit cards are not accepted. Wish there was a sign out front saying cash only .

Great Food. I eat there quite often, the food always hot and delicious the staff very friendly and gets your orders in and out quickly. It is a small place but you can’t beat the prices for the amount of good food you get. The friends I take are always amazed at the food and how good it is and always want to eat there when they are in the area.
