We visited last year. The service was great, but the food wasnt. Though I did greatly enjoy the French onion soup, the steak was over cooked and poor quality. Find a better meat supplier.
The service was good but the food was over cooked to the point that my filet was like leather! Asked for medium and got something that was almost burnt! I ordered Oscar filet and the asparagus was crispy and the crab was hard. Even the Alamo potatoes were like rocks. The entire place was packed sat outside. Was too afraid to send the food back. It may have great reviews but the evening I was there the Alamo was far from being a place of excellence!!!
Went to this place for a work function and the food was good but not great. I will say that the staff was really good especially with the size of or party. Like most steak places the salad was really good. I got the filet and t was tender but not the best I’ve had. The bacon wrapped shrimp were really good.
