This restaurant was good. Portions are large, so if you arent that hungry you could definitely share a meal. Thats what we did, i also tried their salad bar/soup- they have a nice variety of greens and toppings, for the soup i had cabbage and smoke brisket and it was delicious. We ordered choose three platter brisket, chicken, and pulled pork it was ok bbq their mac & cheese was great . Like this post if it was helpful!
Good little BBQ joint just off the strip in Gatlinburg.It was either Bennett’s or Calhoun’s.We chose to try Bennett’s and we’re not disappointed.Plenty of real deal BBQ options and sides.Decent beer list.Beers could be a bit colder however.
My mother and I had eaten at Bennett’s years ago, and we remembered the food was good, so we wanted my Husband and my Dad to experience it as well. Everyone really enjoyed their food, and our waitress, Nancy, was fabulous. We ordered the Fried Dill Pickle Chips as an appetizer. I ordered the Brisket Stuffed Mushrooms, and Spicy Mac and Cheese, and both were very good. Hubby ordered the Brisket Dinner, and he said it was a bit tough, but had a great flavor. My Mom ordered the Cowpolk Chili, which she really liked, and my Dad ordered the Tomato Bacon Soup. We definitely recommend Bennett’s for their variety and service. I added a picture of a sign hanging as you enter the restaurant next to the hostess stand.
We visit Gatlinburg each year with our friends and they love Bennett’s. We went for the first time with them on our last trip. It is very hard to find good food in Gatlinburg. I am very particular about BBQ as many people are depending on what part of the country you are from. Our meal was decent. We enjoyed it and would likely return. They have a huge salad bar and many items on the menu. The place was very busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals.
Dinner was great! Get the brisket and the deep fried corn. The kids meals include drinks and dirt pudding with gummy worms – so cute! The blackberry cobbler was also awesome.
Big Daddy’s Ultimate Combo. Large portions, ribs very tender and tasty! Service friendly and great!
Awful. The service is bad. The food is bland and flavorless. Chicken out of a bag, with sauce from a can. You out do the food with a bag of Bertolli at a quarter of the price.
