Very nice second story outdoor dining. great view of the main street in Gatlinburg. Server was good, kept our glasses filled. Food was good but not exceptional. I had a simple burger and fries.
I ate here while On vacation, and wasn’t really impressed. Service was excellent, drinks stayed full, food came fast server checked on us often. But the food wasn’t anything special, I had the smokyDelphia cheese steak. The steak wasn’t seasoned very well, all I really tasted was meat, cheese and bread. The steak was cooked well, (temperature wise) just nothing special. Every one else in my party liked there meal so it may have just been my poor menu choice.
This place is a complete bust. I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich and figured it would be pretty good…LOL was that a joke or what. I could have got a better chicken sandwich at burger king, mcdonalds, etc. One of the worst chicken sandwiches I think I have ever ate in my life. The portion size of the chicken was so thin and flimsy it felt like I was eating a lettuce and tomato sandwich. Also it says grilled, and the thing look liked it was pre cooked and microwaved. I am shocked. The company states on its walls that ist been around since 1969. Well Blaines you could have fooled me. In 45 years you couldn’t figure out how to make a good chicken sandwich. When I arrived in TN I stopped at a basic waffle house and ordered a chix sandwich and it was pretty good. Tender, meaty, decent flavor. But this place Blaines is a complete bust. Honestly they should have gave me my money back on this meal. i.e. they should have been paying me to eat it because of top of a crappy meal when I left I wasn’t feeling to good and I think that was because my chicken wasn’t cooked PROPERLY!……..NEVER AGAIN
This place had great food but the service was average. I got the chili burger and it was really good! The ultimate nachos were great too! I will be go back, I just hope I have a different server.
False Advertising. That burger you so shamelessly show in your advertisements, you should think about actually serving it. What I got was a flat, 99 cent, frozen disk of mystery meat. I’ve seen microwaved gas station food that looked more appealing then my husband’s French dip sandwich. You have a great location but that doesn’t mean you should be lazy and rip off tourists. Seriously the worst meal we’ve ever had in Gatlinburg.
I ordered the smoky mountain trout off the gluten-free menu. My salad (which was on the gf menu) arrived with croutons on it. There were crouton crumbs all over the salad, so simply removing the croutons wasn’t sufficient. Then my trout was served on a bed of rice pilaf. I told the server I thought the gf trout entree came with a baked potato instead. She said something incoherent about the menu being wrong. I asked if the rice pilaf was gluten free, and she said she thought so but she would check. She came back and said it was not gluten free after all, so I had to wait for her to bring me another plate. While the problem with the entree was corrected, there are clearly some communication problems. I would stay away if you are celiac. I will not be back.
