At 230pm our party of 6 waited 20min to be seated for lunch (that was forewarned to us) and was seated for 15-20min without even our drink order taken. They didnt serve us water for our wait (its 90+ outside today). Our server mentioned that he would be with us shortly, however he had insane trouble focusing (and we assumed he was high). Please choose another food option when on the Gatlinburg strip. We ended up at Five Guys.
The only reason this place gets a 2.0 is because its an interesting atmosphere for a meal. The hostess as well as our server were very nonchalant, basically rude and inattentive. I had the trout. The rice was room temperature, which I wouldnt have gotten at all except the waitress made it clear to me that the trout comes with rice and broccoli, after I asked about alternative sides. The fish was cooked pretty good, but bland. I would say stay away from Blaines.
This was our first visit. It was Christmas Eve and we didn’t expect outstanding service, but we were very impressed. The food (lunch) was excellent – the burgers & fries were great, my salad was fresh & crisp – but even better was the service. Our waiter was very attentive – never let our glasses go empty, polite, friendly and he made sure our order specifics was perfect. We will return. Great first visit and on a Holiday too.
