I look forward to getting donuts from here every year since I was 7 (so over 20 years). I have been to a ton of donut places in my life and non come close to here. The hospitality, the atmosphere, a great selection and the tastiest donuts around. Pass up the line at Pancake Pantry and do yourself a favor and go here. You won’t be sorry.
Donut Friar is tucked away in an alley, so it isn’t the most convenient location. The donuts, however, are totally worth it. They are so fresh. Eating these donuts was a vacation in itself.

Donuts out weigh the attitude. I was lucky to have read the previous reviews before going or I would have just left. No smile, all attitude. The guy didn’t want to talk to you so much that there were handwritten notes on everything. I ordered two frier, icing filled, specials. they were delicious and made me go down memory lane thinking about my hometown’s mom and pop bakery. Just be sure to have cash.
