We always try to find mom and pop places to eat when traveling so we decided to give Howards a try. For drinks we ordered a coke, diet coke and lemonade. When the lemonade came out it was plan water. We send it back and when the waiter came back he said they were out of lemonade. I found it strange they didn’t tell us this in the first place. As for the coke and diet coke neither tasted very good. They need to work on their drink service. For an appetizer we ordered potato skins. These were excellent but they never brought out plates to eat them on. My wife and I both got burgers with fries. The fries were good but the burgers we totally dry. Add a dry burger to an already oversized kaiser roll and you have one disappointing sandwich. It’s kind of neat little place overlooking the creek, but with all the competition in the area, I was expecting much better.
