Delicious! The pancakes were huge…I was a little disappointed when they told me they didn’t have strawberries but the apple pancakes were so yummy! Coffee was excellent!
Greeted right at the door – NICE! The service of our waitress made it all the better
Food was average. Bacon was cold. Hostess clearly didn’t want to be there. Waitress was prompt.
Syrup :). Considering the creepy hotel nearby and the dated look of the outside we didn’t have high expectations. WE WERE WRONG….Their pancakes are amazing and their syrup is homemade and so good…Not super sweet & thick like most places. IT IS the best syrup you’ll put in your mouth. Our waitress was really great and attentive. Some young teenagers work their and some have a little lack of enthusiasm but nothing I can’t overlook because the waitress quickly put them back to work when they looked bored. It was a great end to a long drive home. We are heading back next week and this is definitely where we are going. Not sure how many people have stood in a 2 hour long line for pancake pantry….but Id take this place over them ANYday (*even if they didn’t have a line*).
As we walked into the restaurant no verbal greeting was given. The employees appeared perturbed that they even had to move. When promised the best pancakes we realized that they were the only good item on the menu. My ham was rancid and every other item on my plate was the lowest quality you could buy. When leaving we passed 2 emplyees next to the door that did not even acknowledge us when leaving. I will never return there again.
Best meal of our entire trip… Not too expensive, delicious pancakes. It took a little while to get our food even though it wasn’t crowded.
French toast and eggs were great! Coffee is only .76.
