Horrible customer service. The hostess Anna was very rude to us and other parties. Several complained to the mgr. We waited an hour for a seat and waited 20 minutes after the meal for a check. The food was okay. Not coming back anytime soon.
Average fajitas, refried beans were distasteful, great guacamole, I believe homemade tortillas.Tortilla and salsa was good, but not better than average.Good music and atmosphere.
Food was decent. Service was decent. Everything seemed a bit overpriced. Paid $17.99 for six shrimp and some veggies and rice. For touristy downtown Gatlinburg, it is slightly above average.
Go here, you won’t be disappointed. Margaritas are one of the best, please believe that. Mojitos are great also. You get 3 different salsas, which is refreshing!!!! Cheese dip has pico in it so it was a nice twist. The Taquitos were GREAT. The fried avocados are uneventful. Sitting on the balcony and roof top is fantastic.
The food here is all homemade and made fresh daily. Service was very friendly and warm. The food is flavorful and full of life. We had the chicken fajita quesadilla and the chicken fajita (medium size) and both dishes were perfectly tender. Both dishes were very large. We got every penny’s worth of our money.
We stopped in for a late lunch. I saw something interesting, beef brisket enchiladas. They smoke the brisket on site, and its amazing! They have a great patio overlooking the streets of Gatlinburg as well as rooftop seating. The rice and beans that come with most meals are really good and a step above what I typically see in a basic Mexican restaurant. The beans were like a refried/charro hybrid. Many items come with your choice of sauce toppings, and its obvious they use real cheese. Prices are about 3.00 a plate higher than many Mexican restaurants, which is to be expected in Gatlinburg, a tourist area. Overall I would definitely give it a try, especially if you can find something you like with the beef brisket. They also serve two different red salsas and salsa verde for free with some very light corn tortilla chips. Also noticed they really push the alcohol sales starting at the hostess stand where they encourage you to get a drink at the bar while you wait. Nothing wrong with this, but after you interact with your server next, it becomes obvious its a priority for management.
Absolutely horrible experience here. They are severely understaffed. We waited for at least an hour for our food to be served. And that was only after asking the bartender (yes, he indeed was our waiter even though we were not sitting at the bar) over and over where our food was. The sad part is that my tacos weren’t even that good when they finally arrived! Their drinks are not cheap and are sooooo weak. Please try somewhere else in Gatlinburg! Don’t waste your time or money!
