Horrible!!! From the service to the food. My husband and I since we are foodies wanted to try a variety of dishes and each one as horrible. Save your money and go to IHOP you will get better quality and cheaper prices. Let’s start with the over cooked eggs, the crepes that tasted like baking soda and the grits that had not flavor. The French toast were thin and not fluffy, we were just so disappointed. especially with all the great reviews, but please if you are a foodie stay clear of this place!!
Three words: French Toast Royale. That’s all you need to know. It consists of perfect French toast covered in a succulent cream cheese-based sauce, and it is wonderful.
I have been visiting here since a child. The food has always been brought out lightening fast and very prepared. The service has always been very southern and polite. The atmosphere is incredible. I recommend any of the crepes or pancakes.
Another good breakfast spot in Gatlinburg. It’s not the Pancake Pantry but it is pretty good. All the times we have visited the breakfast and the pancakes have been excellent and the prices are good. The massive fireplace is a welcomed sight on those cold Tennessee mornings. This place is very popular with the tourist as well. If you haven’t been or don’t feel like waiting in a long line for breakfast at Pancake Pantry then you should check this place out.
Had the ham and cheese omelet, and it was alright. Not the best but not terrible. What brought this review up were the pancakes, absolutely amazing! I also had a side of grits and they were great as well. We are going back before we leave for round 2!
Just go to IHOP. The Log Cabin Pancake House is similar to every other breakfast establishment in the area, and guests are herded through like cattle to keep the money flowing. The service is good, with friendly staff, but they are very efficient. You are just another ticket. The pancakes are not bad but not overly impressive, either.
This is a Gatlinburg vacation establishment! We eat here multiple times every time we go to Gatlinburg. My favorite is the Pigs in a Blanket. I also love going and sitting by the huge fireplace especially when it gets chilly outside! The staff treat you just like you were family!
