Go to Melting Pot for the experience of cooking your food in little boiling fondue pots at your table. It’s fun and yummy, especially if you need a break from diner food. The four course deal is worth it – cheese fondue, salad, meat fondue where you cook beef, chicken, shrimp, etc. in boiling broth, and desert course where you dip cake and fruit in melted chocolate. It is spendy, though, and it’s a chain, which has pros and cons.

Do not go here!! Worst service I have ever had! Our waitress literally only had 3 teeth and looked like a meth addict. I was scared to eat the food. If I’m going to pay $100+ for a dinner for 2, I expect my waiter or waitress to have all their teeth! Will not ever go to this location of melting pot again

We’d go again. The food was great but the covered a nice cold water tail in some sort of dry rub, totally masked the point of having lobster. We each ordered from the 4 course and were surprised how full we were given the seemingly small portions. The pace is right, if you’re not in a rush. The coaching by the server was scripted but was delivered in a way that it just sounded like he had somewhere else he needed to be.Spent $180 with tip, if you are going go to enjoy and get what sounds good. We did have 3 cocktails each so that added to our bill that non drinkers can trim.

Outstanding Choice. While staying in Gatlinburg we wanted to visit a restaurant that was unique to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We looked at the menu before sitting down and were slightly taken aback by the higher prices. That being said, the dining experence we had was fantastic and well worth the price ( 80.00 ) per couple. Our server was named Kris and he was very helpful and guided us through the picking and ordering of our menu selections. I read in other reviews that some people complained that dinner took 2 hours or more, well folks, it did and it should. This is a dining EXPERIENCE not a quick meal. If you need to eat quick to get to the go karts or to shop for trinkets go somewhere else. We ordered the Four Course Classic meal. It started with a classic cheese fondue with an assortment of breads and vegetables. Second course was a great salad (several choices); third course was the main which featured steak, pork loin, shrimp, teriyaki beef, bbq pork and chicken. A half dozen different dipping sauces were provided to give each meat a different flavor. The broth you cook them in is also up to you. We choose the Coq au vin which was a vegetable broth and burgundy wine mixture. Then came dessert, where you get a choice as well. We picked the dark chocolate with ameritto. In it you dip fresh strawberries, brownie bites, 2 different types of dusted marshmellows, bananas, rice krispy treats and pound cake. We came away very full and completely happy with our evening.

A great meal. At first I resisted the idea of going to a chain while on vacation. After discovering that Gatlinburg is devoid of decent food we went here on our last night in town and had an excellent meal. The cheese and chocolate fondue with a bottle of wine offering is spot on. We added a salad course also. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job.

Worst service in recent memory. The food was good but took almost 2 hrs for cheese and chocolate!
