This place is always busy. Still one of the best breakfasts too. It’s a tradition that we always go here one morning. Grab some coffee and pancakes and you won’t be disappointed.
Decent food but nothing to write home about. They only take cash but do not bother to let you know until its time to pay. The cashier was very rude when I handed her my card and just pointed towards the ATM. Definitely a tourist trap.
Out of this world crepes and extremely filling portion size. I was able to skip lunch after eating here. Friendly and attentive service. If you are visiting the Smokies, a good full up before a morning hike.
The food at pancake pantry is delicious. When our food arrived, my party was so excited to eat it I couldn’t even get a photo! Pancakes are a given and there are a variety of syrups to choose from. Don’t rule out the eggs, which was actually my favorite item! The French toast was excellent! Cappuccinos were also pretty tasty! They move through tables quickly and the food arrives quick so don’t let a line scare you from going to this fantastic place with excellent service!!
We went their again recently in support of the town after the great fire. The good news is that we got into the Pancake Pantry for breakfast with no wait line (about 2/3s full). All 4 of us ordered the crepes which we knew were very good. We had Raspberry, Mixed Berry, Apple and Pineapple. The Berry ones were the top rated by the group with Mixed Berry being the favorite. They were all good but that was the conclusion of our group. The place is always clean with good service and we were happy to see the place doing well even though the owners/workers had suffered due to the fire. Best pancake place in East TN, bar none! Keep up the tradition!
Can’t come to Gatlinburg without going to the Pancake Pantry at least once per stay. I’m a good ol’ breakfast kind of guy, but my wife LOVES their crepes. Good service, fast service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!!!
Terrible – go anywhere else crepes are rubbery – no taste. Service was – take it or leave it. Not recommended. Only thing good – location!!!
