Great food!Food Ordered Wild Blueberry Pancakes, Veggie Burger, Veggie Omelette with spicy fries and hash browns gobbled with a cuppa hot chocolate. Since we intelligently went at lunch hours, we dodged the long queue and got an awesome place to sit by the window as soon as we walked in. With almost around 24 types of delicious pancakes and crepes to choose from, wonderful, cordial staff, veggie options and that old world charm this place is a must visit for anyone and everyone visiting Gatlinburg. Undoubtedly, there is a good reason that this restaurant has been here since 1960s! Worth every dollar!Note They only accept CASH so make sure that you carry enough! (For worst case scenario, theres an ATM on site.)
The atmosphere is really nice, its attached to The Village shopping center which has some of the most attractive classic architecture on the Parkway, inside is comfortable and nice.Unfortunately when I was being seated the host seemed a little rushed and unpleasant, Im just speculating that its because the busboy wasnt moving fast enough. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The food selection is exactly as expected, a whole lot of different crepes and pancakes, but their sandwiches looked good and so did their more conventional breakfast with hash browns and eggs. I was happy with my choice of the Wildberry Crepes; the filling was cream cheese, the berry compote mixture was good, and clearly made in house, the crepes were good and the texture was exactly what I would want from crepes.Overall it was a great experience, minus the hostess.
