We did have a large party due to soccer tournament, but we were very disappointed with the service. It took over an hour after we ordered to get our food. The food was average at best. And then we were charged wrong. We were charged dinner prices instead of lunch prices. We brought this to our servers attention. She did not seem happy about adjusting the bill, but did so and brought the bill back. I expected gratuity to be added due to our party size but she did not adjust the gratuity when she adjusted the prices from dinner to lunch. We started to ask and she cut us off. Went to the front and asked for the manager, who finally adjusted it 15 minutes later. The server came back up and said that if we had stayed seated, she would have adjusted this. I truly feel she was more interested in increasing her tip than truly giving us the correct price. If the food, the wait, and the service had been better, we may not have cared about a little extra on the tip. Next time, we will risk driving down into the main area of Gatlinburg to feed our team because it sure would not take any longer even on a day with heavy traffic.
This place is a must to try while in Gatlinburg. It’s off the parkway so not too crowded and the food was AMAZING! The atmosphere was very relaxing and service was excellent. This will be on our list to hit next time we come back!!
Best restaurant we’ve found in 14 years of coming to Gatlinburg yearly for work. Went twice in our weekend visit! Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and they even have creative vegetarian options beyond just side dishes. Please support this place so we can have good food here next year!
HIGHLY RECCOMENDThis place was absoutly amazing. I got the Guniess braised corn beef with Gouda Mac and cheese and holy moly was it tasty. The sandwich was so flavorful and the Mac and cheese was god sent. My boyfriend got the open face smoked roast beef with apple pie moonshine soaked apples and the roast beef was probably the most flavorful roast beef we have ever had and the apples were so good, it would be bomb on top of some ice cream!
Our waitress Alice, recommended the Smoked Gouda Mac N Cheese, it was super delicious. Also had the fried chicken, which was also very good. My husband had a steak and was very satisfied. So much food I had to take out the rest. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. It appears there can be quite a wait if you don’t plan it right or maybe we got lucky. Extensive dessert menu which unfortunately I couldn’t fit it. The menu is varied and has something for everyone.
This place sux only because we had a bad waitress that was actually a bar tender there and I guess she didn’t want to be serving ? Had a cracked cup that ran all over the table and she just acted like she didn’t want to change the cup out….food is bad also !!!
Had the Cuban with mac and cheese. The Cuban was fair but the mac and cheese was over the top great. Service was excellent. Food came quick. Plenty of parking.
