Don’t spend a cent of your money here. The food is not edible by any means.. Had a blueberry bagel and it tasted like onions. Guess it was in the same box as the onion bagels?? Gave it a second try and placed an order to go and got the bagel egg and cheese sandwich and it was flavorless. Waste of money. My friend ordered a Belgian waffle and it was flimsy and wet. She called the place to complain and they said she was supposed to specify if she wanted a crispy waffle… What??
I honestly don’t understand how this place was even busy. My server didn’t check on us but once the entire hour and a half we were there. Our food took 45 minutes to come out. We only ordered French toast, bagels, and eggs. Nothing that takes longer than 10 min to cook. The bagel was ok. My sons French toast was chewy and overwhelmed with cinnamon. My grits were terrible. They were thick and dry, luke warm and bland – It tasted like microwaved grits. It took the server 10 min just to bring us coffee! Won’t be back. It made me really wish I had just gone to West St. instead.
The food is awesome and the service is even better. I’m surprised by the bad reviews. Very pleased with this place. We split the nova lox and a farmer’s skillet.
