Best kept secret in Germantown!. As soon as I stepped in the door I was greeted with warm smiling faces. The service was excellent! But even more the food was excellent! If your in the area and looking for a great place to eat I strongly recommend The Java Cafe! You will not be disappointed!Ms.JJ
Great find. I come here regularly with my family. Service is fast and the food is great. Everyone here remembers your name. I’d recommend the French toast for breakfast and the Spa salad for lunch.
Good food, horrible service. I went to Java Cafe this morning for breakfast and the food was great, once I got some help. I stood at the counter looking at the menu for a minute, hoping that one of the few people behind the counter would help me but I had no luck. Finally, a nice worker came up from the back of the store and instantly took my order. I wad so impressed at the quick service from her that I had to get her name. It was Hannah. So if you go to Java, ask for Hannah! She will help you. Besides the lack of service at the start, I rather enjoyed my visit.
I live right around the corner from Java and have been going since I was a little girl! The service is absolutely incredible and they (in my opinion) have the best tasting coffee! My friends and I visit Java every Wednesday morning before school for Jesus, coffee and omelets!!!
Best hot coffee, salads, sandwiches and homemade deserts. I went to java today and ate outside on patio! What a great experience! Their was a brisk breeze so my regular coffee was topped with steamed milk for free!! Delish!
Great Food with Your Coffee. Fresh breads and desserts along with great deli sandwiches and salads that are all made to order and a rocking breakfast separate this spot from others. Don’t let the name fool you, there is serious good food here. Chef John is culinary school trained, mentioned in several cookbooks and makes fantastic food. This is a great place to stop, linger and relax or quickly get your fix from of a variety of great teas, coffees and specialty drinks. A real gem in Germantown.
My new favorite little cafe! My mother and I stopped by while she was in town and we grabbed breakfast. I had the French toast with strawberries and she had an omelette stuffed with all of her favorites. It was delicious! You almost feel like a member of this family when you come in because they are so delightful and the food is just like home!
