Excellent food and service, every time. My wife and I moved to Germantown in June of 2014 and since relocating here, have eaten here six or eight times, maybe more. The chips and salsa are always good and quickly refilled, Tacos de Carne Asada and Enchiladas Supremas are a couple of our favorites. I read the negative reviews and it’s like they’re describing a place I’ve never been.
AWFUL FOOD AND MANAGEMENT — GERMANTOWN TN LOCATION 11/8 @ APPROX 5:30PM. 11/8 dinner @ approx 5:30pm ..second booth to the right as you walk in–ordered Shrimp fajita Quesadilla….the shimp were raw and tasted strange…I ask3ed my husband to taste to make sure it wasnt just me….awful !!! sent to dish away with the waitress..they removed the charge from our bill BUT!!! no one said sorry no manager no nothing ….LAST TIME WE EVER GO THERE —AWFUL FOOD AND AWFUL MANAGEMENT !!!
Skip this place. Eat at the Wendy’s in the same parking lot instead. You will be much happier.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse than chapultepec… I thought Chapultepec and El Porton were competing for worst Mexican restaurant in Germantown but wait.. from somewhere in the back emerges La Hacienda.I am not sure why this location is so bad. The Cordova one has great food and service. I live right around the corner from this place, and I’ve been there at least 10 times. Each time it gets worse. Something is always missing.. Refills, chips, waitress, someone giving a damn.. The worst part of this place is it’s expensive!! Why am I gonna pay $7.99 for a cheese dip that I have to send back twice to be reheated when it’s brought out cold to begin with? Is it really that hard for whoever is using the microwave to check and see if the dip is hot?So just take your cheese dip loving little one to El Mezcal over on Houston Levee. We will see you there.
Big Birthday Bash. Just had a great evening at the Germantown La Hacienda!! Fifteen people for a birthday party in their private room. Good food and OUTSTANDING service. They handled the birthday cake candle lighting and presentation perfectly. That private room was plenty big for our group. Thanks La Hacienda for an excellent evening.
Awful awful AWFUL!. Words cannot begin to describe how terrible my experiences at la hacienda have been, especially at this location. service is TERRIBLE. Our waitress disappeared continually as we were trying to place our drink order and our food order and when we wanted our check. I ordered a glass of wine and halfway through the glass i noticed a sandy substance floating at the bottom. When i informed the waitress, she accused me of putting chips in my glass so that i would not have to pay for the $3.50 glass of wine. She lied and said that the wine was from a newly opened bottle when I personally saw her pour the remainder of one bottle in the glass and then open a new glass. When I asked to speak to the manager, the manager claimed that I was in the wrong. I have never had a pleasant experience here and I will be sure to never return. Terrible customer service and food.
Average, fairly cheap Mexican food. Tasted pre-prepared and somewhat canned. However, it was an affordable (large) meal the entire family could enjoy.
