Very disappointed. I was very disappointed. My friend and I both ordered the wings…at the same time. Hers took about 15 mins to come out. Mine came out about 15 mins after that. When I went to check on my order, I was told there was a technical difficulty. I was then given a complimentary order of chips with mango salsa which was very good. However, when I finally got the wings they were not hot. They were barely warm. My friend who also ordered wings said the same of hers. What took so long? These should come out piping hot. The flavor of the sauce on the wings was good, but the skin in the wings were soft and chewy, not crispy. Maybe I’m not familiar with Hawaiian style wings, but it seems like these wings were steamed and then tossed in the sauce. A second friend ordered the sliders and they were fine…nothing uniquely Hawaiian. The sauce was similar to a teriyaki sauce. Lastly, I don’t think water with a couple of shredded mint leaves should cost $2. And the fresh squeezed lemonade was very diluted. I was really looking forward to trying this food truck but was sorely disappointed.

The server told us they are precooked and warmed. The mango cucumber salsa was fresh and tasty and the tea was good. $2 for a cup of water with mint and lemon is high, for $1 we may have gone back for more as it was a hot long wait. I’ll try again and see if these issues work themselves out.
