Owen Brennan’s is a awesome experience for great service, food and hospitality. The owner makes rounds to ensure satisfaction and what an easy thing to do when everything is great. Oysters from the Louisiana Gulf where fresh and tasty. The Red Snapper Perez was joyfully adapted for me by replacing rice with sauted spinach. Full of flavor that would expect from the southern cooking. The wine list offers a selection for everyone. Healthy, enjoyable and a great energy place to visit. Everyone here takes pride in their service/profession.I will be back tomorrow for lunch!!
We had brunch here on 1/3- the food and service were good but we rated them lower because of price. Our party had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server did a good job explaining how the buffet was laid out and giving us input on beverages (we went with mimosas and spicy bloody Mary’s). The buffet had a huge selection- oysters and shrimp on ice, eggs Benedict and omelet stations, fresh fruit, mac and cheese, touffe, smoked cheddar grits, fried chicken, and bread pudding (to name a few items). Everything we had was very good and for $36 a person we expected it to be. This place had good ambiance and live music on Sunday mornings. We are glad we got to try it but it’s not a place we would need to go back to soon.
