This restaurant has gone downhill. What happened to this restaurant??? Did the owner change? It use to be the best and now its terrible!!! I ordered pick-up chicken chow mien and the carton was 1/3 full and had two slivers of chicken and the rest was broccoli. The fried rice was dry, salty and full of english peas. I called about the 1/3 carton and was told the crispy noodles would fill the container up which made no sense. I will NEVER order food there again or dine in and I have for years.
I have enjoyed Royal Panda for a dozen years but, sadly, the quality of food and service has declined to the point I will no longer be visiting them. We have been ordering delivery online but the last three orders arrived late, food was cold, and last nights food made us ill. Too bad because this restaurant was our go to place for Chinese dinners.
Not a good experience… We stood waiting to be seated for 5 min without ever being acknowledged and it was not a busy night. Once we were seated it was almost 10 min before our waiter approached with the lame excuse that no one told him we were there (we were seated in a main area not hidden). Drink refills were wrong twice, food took almost 30 min to receive and was cold when arrived. I worked in restaurants so I don’t send food back… So we choked down cold food. Then sat there for 15 min waiting for the bill. When we had the bill ready to be paid it took another 15 min for him to remember to come pick it up! Service was horrible and the food wasn’t much better. We won’t be going back.
I’ve never had a bad meal at Royal Panda! Good selection of appetizers and very good cross section of menu items. I’ve never had a bad experience with service like other reviewers seem to have had.If you like Chinese food , give it a try . You will like it.
Lucky to have this restaurant in Germantown! It’s my favorite Chinese food in Memphis. The service is a bit slow, but the foodake up for it. Try the duck dish … You won’t be sorry!
We are so lucky to have this gem of a Chinese restaurant in Germantown. The servers are very friendly and helpful with the menu. The kitchen is very open to changes and substitutions. The portions are generous. Our family loves the wonton soup, egg rolls, sesame chicken, fried rice and any of the chef’s specials. The food is always delicious,cooked to order and served piping hot.
We ordered pick up: Below average, bland food – we had Kung Pao Chix, Generals Chix, beef w broccoli. Don’t recommend.
