Horrible and expensive. At 6pm there were only 2 other customers in the place. We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer and they came out about the same time as our meal. The garlic knots came looking like twisted crescent rolls and tasted like that as well. It had red spaghetti sauce to dip it in. Sauce was blah but very sweet. Wife ordered chicken masala, I ordered chicken pharm. both dishes came out looked like boiled some noodles and poured sauce on it. Chicken was tough and cheery. We did not eat 1/2 of any of the dishes, and when the server asked if we wanted a take out box, we felt that would be wast of a perfectly good box. Price for the meal was $58.00 and we had water to drink.
I have never written an online restaurant review. Todays experience was so ridiculous, I felt compelled. First of all, the waitress was very nice. Regardless of how bad the food was, I left her a tip wasnt her fault. We sat down at 12:30 on a Saturday, the place was about 25% full. From the time we ordered, it took more than 45 minutes to get soup, not the main course, just the soup. Both bowls (tortellini and tomato basil) were cold. The vegetables in the tortellini soup were not cooked. About 30 minutes later the pizza and calzone arrived. Just as a previous reviewer mentioned, it was very clear that the slices we were served were old and stale. They were cold and barely re-heated. The mushrooms and artichoke hearts added to my wifes slice were basically raw. My calzone was cold on the inside with the cheese barely starting to melt. We would have sent everything back, but the kids were starving and we couldnt bear to wait another hour. Additionally, as we looked around the room, it was obvious that other patrons were having a similar experience. Ultimately, my one kid ate his pizza, but its important to note that this is the same kid that prefers microwaved pizza at home. In short, stay away. This is one of those rare occasions in life where White Castle or Krystal would have actually been better. Should add its pretty obvious that the positive reviews come from the manager or owner.
