Literally the worst chinese food ive ever had delivered.. After waiting almost 2 hours (despite the restaurant being right up the street), i recived my food from a rude blonde woman. When i opened up the bag i noticed the food was cold & smelled a bit off. I tried calling back & complaining but when i brought it up to whoever was on the other line told me to wait & then they hung up. No one answered after that, so im pretty mad about the whole ordeal & just wanted to make sure people dont waste their money like i did.
The food is great especially the fried wontons they are loaded with pork filling. Egg foo young (house special) full of meat. Also Szechuan triple delight full of chicken,beef, and shrimp.
Speak English. I place order with someone that was unable to speak english and understand the delivery address. Really?
Always Awesome!. I’m surprised at bad/so-so reviews on here. We’ve ordered (both take-out and delivery) from Main Moon several times a month for about 4 years and have always been happy with what we got. During that time, we’ve ordered most everything on the menu and it was all good. They never complain about having to tweak my order (I always add water chestnuts or leave out mushrooms or something else that’s a pain). I won’t be going elsewhere unless they go out of business….and I’d be miserable if they did!
Delivery Experience. I order out from Main Moon at least a few times each month. Our favorites are the Dragon & Phoenix, General Tso’s Chicken, Pork w/ black bean sauce, Beef and Scallops Hunan style, hot & sour soup, fried wonton’s….pretty much everything we’ve tried and it’s all been great. Delivery is fast and prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended.
Ripped off. Main Moon’s food is always good…but today at LUNCH (remember this…its important), my wife ordered us a couple of dishes.When we got them the total came to almost $19.00 (I thought it was odd, but didn’t say anything cause I thought maybe my wife ordered something else.We had no forks and no egg rolls. We called them and they told my wife we didn’t get any because we ordered from the dinner menu.That’s a load of crap…considering it was 12:15 pm when my wife ordered! She was never given any direction about different menus. We will see if we get refunded like they promised….but regardless, beware of these scamsters and try to avoid getting Main Moon’d like we did!!!
Main Moon is GREAT. Main Moon has the BEST wonton soup in town. For $2.25, you get a 32 ounze tub of soup with 9-12 huge wontons. The containers are dishwasher safe, and I now have no need to ever buy Gladware or tupperware. Just the soup is a wonderful dinner or lunch in itself, although I have found all of the food I’ve eaten from thiere to be good. The restaurant is clean and convenient, and the people who work there are friendly and serve a quick, tasty meal. I highly recommend Main Moon.
