Fast and Good
Frozen donuts. Blaaaah….
A great drive through window !. I love the drive through set up on this former car wash turned into a Dunkin Donuts location ! They could make this extra cool if they really wanted to… anyway it is unique. I can only speak for the coffee. It was just like the variety available in the grocery stores. Really good and piping hot. I will go back just for the drive through AND I will get a donut too !
Donuts were great. A little disappointed with service at the drive thru. Employee taking the orders had no clue about their products when we had questions.
I just spent the mist disastrous 50 minutes of my life here. They need to get their act together. First, they gave me the wrong size coffee; I ordered a large but they gave me a medium. When they corrected it, they poured sugar all over the lid, not in the drink, so it tasted awful. We also ordered breakfast sandwiches. After waiting about 10 minutes on them, we asked about them, and we were told the order didn’t go through. Not sure how that happened considering we paid for it and had the reciept. When we did finally get our food, it was not the right sandwich. We took it back and asked for the sandwich we ordered. We waited another 19 minutes to get snother incorrect sandwich. I finally gave up and left, very frustrated. No one even tried to make this right. In fact the employees were rude, not just to me, but everyone I saw them interact with (which obviously I had plenty of time to watch). I will never return to this Dunkin Donuts. I may never return to any Dunkin Donuts, in fact.
Big Chain Classic. Growing up, my favorite treat was when my dad would get the family Dunkin Donuts, especially Munchkins. The last Dunkin Donuts moved out of Chattanooga when I was kid, and I was not reconnected to my favorite childhood donut shop until a few years ago while visiting Charlotte, N.C. What a treat! When I discovered it, my wish was for Dunkin Donuts to one day regain a foot-hold in the Chattanooga market. Ironically, being from Michigan, my wife also grew up on Dunkin Donuts. When she relocated to Chattanooga as an adult, she was puzzled why there was none in the city. During the time, we were dating, I explained that the company moved out of Chattanooga many years ago. Like me, she also had expressed her desire that one day they may return. Our wish has come true. It is great to see Dunkin Donuts back in the city of Chattanooga. We recently visited the newest location on East Brainerd Road. It is a very unique location because the building that now houses Dunkin Donuts was a car wash, so the drive-thru is a tunnel. Very unique in itself! It definitely makes for a different experience, in which I think a lot of people will enjoy considering if you choose not to order inside, you are perfectly sheltered from any weather. And surprisingly, the tunnel is cool and does not smell of exhaust fumes. THE FOODClassic…period! My favorite donuts are the traditional glaze, chocolate cake, blueberry, and sour cream. And, of course, Munchkins (traditional, chocolate, and blueberry). THE VERDICTWhat can I say…Dunkin Donuts for me is nostalgic. It represents family time. Having lost my father in 2003, it allows me to return to those good times and keep the memories alive. And for that, I will always have love for Dunkin Donuts.Remember: Let food be FUN!
