Horrible Service. 10:30am on a Saturday morning, my friends and I sit down, the waitress is busing the table next to us. When she is finished, she takes our orders. 30 minutes later we still haven’t even gotten our drinks. We ask to speak with a manager, and wait… and wait… another 10 minutes go by and our drinks finally arrive, but still no manager. 20 more minutes our food arrives. We never did get to speak with the manager. The food was good, but not good enough to excuse or forgive horrible service.
Management needs to check on staff. Lunch here today: The first negative was one of the servers was a little over weight and had on low ride jeans with a tight knit top. Her mid section was hanging down over her belt. Not something one wants to look at while eating. Second: another server was chewing gum, and with her mouth open. Again not something one wants to see while eating. Meal was good, place was clean. Management needs to check on the staff.
The Huddle House is a great place to eat 24 hours a day, but these restaurants are hard to find. Luckily, we lived very close to this one in Chattanooga.My partner and I have spent many hours dining, drinking coffee, and studying at this location. The wait staff has always been friendly, and the food has always been served quickly and hot.Our favorite breakfast menu items to try include: ham and cheese omelet, golden waffle platter, smokehouse platter, and the high-rise platter.For other meals, we enjoy the country-fried steak sandwich, crispy chicken club, triple Huddle burger, and chicken tenders.The coffee is always fresh and hot. This is extremely important for University students. 😉
Lunch today was a mess. Lunch today was not a good experience. First the service was friendly but slow, but the service being slow was not the servers problem. The cooks just were not up to handling their job. Our food set for over 3 minutes before it was given to a server to bring to our table. The food was cold, good but cold. There was two cooks but they just didn’t know what they were doing. Our food was already on the plate when the bread was put on the grill. With two cook you’d think they could get orders ready in a timely manner and have them served hot. I think we will make sure someone else is cooking before we go again.
Nice latenight Dinner. Wife and I went here late lastnight after the ballgame. Service was fast and friendly, food was served hot and to order.
