Amazing food and entertainment..and at a low price!. Gosh for only 25 bucks, it got me soup, salad, lots of vegies, steak, shrimp, chicken, tons of rice, and a good bit more. It was an amazing experience. Loads of fun with the chef. I don’t wanna spoil anything though :p
Tops in my book. I was in Chattanooga on a business trip and visited here because I always do hibachi on business trips. I visited here on a Monday and they were slow. FYI, they don’t have a sushi chef on Monday’s because of that so if you want sushi don’t come here on Monday’s. Since it was slow, me and my friend had our own personal cook Chef Lo. He was great! I had the Steak, Shrimp and Chicken with extra fried rice. They give you a variety of sauces, Yum Yum, Hot Sauce, Ginger, Teryaki and two other sauces I wasn’t sure of but you can’t go wrong with the Yum Yum sauce (Its what I call it.) Chef Lo added cabbage to the meal which in my opinion took my meal over the top. He turned that simple item into something that tasted amazing. Overall I was impressed with our chef and he seasoned the food just right and we had a good portion of food I must say but It may have been we were the only two at the table. Overall I was impressed and was completely stuffed. I also had the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and it was pretty good. I would definitely recommend because I am a hibachi snob.4.5 Belly rubs out of 5
They are under a new management, sushi got better in one way because they now make all the Sauces, but they advertise 50% off sushi rolls, but be ready to pay taxes on the 50% you are not paying for. The food itself was mediocre. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was very low on taste and had no flavor at all, plus the meal size went down and the miso soup was watered down and greasy. At $15 per plate you can pay a little bit more and eat at a nicer restaurant. Also the meal size would be appropriate if the food quality was better. I will not be going there again. Gunbarrel no longer has a decent Japanese restaurant!
Great Japanese place. Reasonably priced compared to other places. Really enjoyed it.
Hands down my favorite restaurant. I always get extra fried rice and the meals turns into 3 meals. It’s always my splurge/special occasion choice.
My favorite hibachi restaurant in Chattanooga. They charge an extra dollar for fried rice, but either steamed or fried is delicious. Food always tastes awesome and the sushi is fresh. Not one complaint.
A Great Experience. We have a restaurant like this in my hometown and in my my current home city in Atlanta. The food was great and very filling!! The service was excellent and our chef that prepared the food before us we exceptional. I recommend this place to all. Great food and great prices!!
