SLOW. We’ve given this IHop multiple chances, but every single time the service is soooooooooo slow! Back in October, we waited almost an hour for food, and I never actually received my complete order, and got no refills on my drink. One waitress looked right at our table and walked away. The manager just made excuses, and gave compensation that covered the tax basically. I repeat – I never got my complete order, so why was I paying for a meal I never got? It was a little better the next time I visited, but it had to be, because we were 1 of 2 tables filled. It was still slow. We do a lot of things with large groups, and try our best to go elsewhere now due to the service, or lack thereof. On the bright side, the other IHop locations are very good.

Due to the last review I read from July 2014 I previously decided not to meet my son from out of town at the IHOP on Brainerd Rd for breakfast. Today we decided to give it a try. There must have been significant improvements to this restaurant from what I had read in some previous reviews. The interior of the customer area of the restaurant was very clean. My son said the rest room could have been cleaner, but aside from that our breakfast dinning experience could not have been better.Our server was knowledgeable, polite, and very friendly. The food was hot, delicious,and delivered to our table in a reasonable time.I think past reviewers should give this IHOP another look.
IHoP Redux: January 2013. Good service, but slow due to kitchen error. Ticket was comp’d by 1/2. Food served mostly cold, which begs the question: why was the food so slow to be brought to the table? Refills, slow as well, but the poor waitress was given hell by other diners (two other tables complaining about poor/slow service/food), I felt bad to even inquire about it. Bottom line: no change. Same IHoP, different year.03 Jul, 2012Terrible.. We’ve visited IHoP five or six times since December and on all visits save one we’ve received extremely slow and poor service. The food is a mixed bag – sometimes good, sometimes bad, but entirely inconsistent. The one constant is the poor service – wrong information regarding menu items from employees, slow or nonexistent refills, inconsistent pricing, and the salt shakers are always soaked (weird, right? we’re told the building is just humid, but it is off-putting). On more than one occasion, we’ve been seated at a dirty table that hash’t been wiped down prior to us sitting, and it seems like the tables and booths are always soaked with sticky, sweet, syrup. Clean-up, for pete’s sake!

Great place. My husband and i recently went to ihop and it was an excellent choice. We had a good greeting and the food speed was amazing. They have come a long way since they moved across the street because before it wasnt so great. but htey have def improved!!!
After waiting an hour for our food (not to mention a 15 minute wait to be seated), we finally got up and walked out. This was our second experience like this at this location. We won’t be going back.
OK, I was here and I thought I was getting a hybrid bacon cheeseburger with the bacon embedded into the patty. I am glad that it came the traditional way, with bacon strips on the top! It was a good, salty,greasy IHOP burger that I ate tonight with fries and dill pickle spears. In no way is this establishment on the top of any wish list, but it does fill a need at a given time…
