Worst japanese food in chattanooga. This place is by far the worst Japanese restaurant in Chattanooga. I have no idea how this place even stays open. The rice is terrible and the chicken is some stew concoction that was extremely bland. My friend got the shrimp and chicken and he said it was terrible too. It’s not even that cheap either. It’s $10 for crap. If you’re that close to Rice Boxx then why would anyone go here? First and last time ever dining here.

Keep driving! The food was terrible. The service was ok, no complaints there but I could not even eat the meat I was served at all! I would of not return for a free meal if I hadn’t eaten all day. The chicken & steak quality is so poor it is hard to find anything comparable (that someone would consider consuming). I would blindly suggest any place over this one due to the simple fact it could not have been much worse.
I have eaten at typhoon for the past 7 years. The last time was a few yrs ago till today. I had chicken teriyaki, my friend had steak teriyaki. The rice was obviously cooked hours, to days prior. The rice had dehydrated and every mouthful had crunchy bits of rice through out the fried rice. My chicken was the lowest grade chicken I think I’ve ever eaten. It was so tough! The steak was slicked so thin, and was so tough. It seemed like a dog treat, or beef jerky! Rice was hard cold, meat was cheap, service was good. Before heading to eat at typhoon we were considering there or little Tokyo. Obvious choice from now on!
Awesome!. This place is great. I didn’t even like Japanese food, but my sister insisted I try it. After that I was hooked. Been going there for years now. Lots of food and great experience for the tastebuds! The prices are very reasonable for the portions you get too. It can’t be beat. You just have to try it.
