Cozy and delicious. We love Avanti Gourmet. We come here to relax and get a good hot meal a few times a month. The owner is always in and greets the customers on a first name basis. It’s our go-to spot. Not only is it the best in Sumner, it’s one of the best in the Nashville area.
Avanti Gourmet has good New York pizza, pasta and meatballs, love love antipasti salad and cannoli

Great italian food, reasonably priced, excellent service. I grew up in the Phila area with an Italian heritage and family from Italy. The food at Avanti is as close as I’ve come to having authentic italian food in the Nashville area. Charlie and his staff make you feel welcomed and take great pains to ensure your meal and experience exceed your expectations. My wife and I eat there at least once a week. Highly recommended.
Unbelievable. Nice restaurant and decor, however the food takes forever, if i wanted to eat there during a lunch break i wouldnt even have time to order it go and get back to work. The food is costly and unseasoned. This is no gourmet place, this is a sit down convenience store with a menu.
Favorite Local Fair. My husband and I frequent Avanti on a regular basis. It started as a great place for home style Italian food and over the past few years it has grown into a love of the people, atmosphere and food. Everyone one is friendly, helpful and the food will not disappoint you. With huge portions and an extensive menu, there is something for everyone. Avanti is a staple restaurant for any of our out of town guests and they never fail to impress. If you are looking for good food in an intimate atmosphere with friendly service…this is the place. Ask for Sally or Brianna…you will not be disappointed.
