Cafe rakka. This place is amazing plan and simple!!!!!!! From the moment you enter in the front door the smells and aroma take over and you can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The use of spices and blends of herbs make every bite sensational. I can’t recommend this place more, if you love Mediterranean food you won’t find a better place in Nashville… the humus with roasted garlic is to die for. And the lamb is so tender and juicy every bite is better than the last. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back to eat here again. So authentic, thanks for the wonderful meal and the great memories

Unlikely cafe. What’s wonderful Bistro is in an unlikely looking place. I have had lunch and dinner at Cafe Rocca several times. the lamb is delicious. I always ask for it extra spicy and they don’t let me down. the salad saffron rice and the sauces are awesome. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat here. the service is great the food is exceptional and it is very original. in good weather you can dine alfresco. Not something that we find in Middle Tennessee very often. the lamb is tender and sweet. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant.

Fresh and Amazing!. I was skeptical at first because of its location, but Cafe Rakka is the best Mediterranean in town! Everything–hummus, tabbouleh, tandoori chicken, pomegranate tea–is fresh and artfully and lovingly prepared. The servers are attentive and the atmosphere is lovely and calming.

Not Your Average Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean Cafe. If you enjoy well spiced (not necessarily spicy) homemade Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food you need to come here! We started our meal with the hummus (no bland gritty paste here) a succulent blend of chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice of spices served with warm pita bread. For the entree we chose the lamb biryani chunks of lamb cooked with cherries served over saffron rice with side salad and yogurt dipping sauce. Even though I was full from the hummus and lamb biryani I simple couldn’t pass up some baklava which was seasoned with some flagrant yet floral spices that I never could quite identify other than it was delicious! When you dine here your taste buds will thank you and you’ll be taking about this place for days!

Not sure that it is traditional middle eastern. It has Indian influences, but it is very good.

Spicy. I love this place. Last night I had the lamb chop special. It was awesome. If you like hot and spicy they can fix it your way. I don’t care for the ordering system [lack of system]. Nothing can really take away from the superb food. If you are in the area and appreicate Medittrean inspired food you must go to Cafe Rakka.
